ABOUT US
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our little company!

I am Jennifer, and I take care of and handle all of the jumpers that are adopted from Little Fluffs n Stuffs. My 6 year old daughter, Cipher, also helps from time to time with handling! My husband of 14 years helps motivate me, writes my to-do lists for me, and is my reminder! We have 2 dogs, a 13 year old American Bulldog named Hiei, and a 14 week old Frenchie named Turbo.

This all started when an old high school friend posted on social media about her cute little jumping spiders, and that they made good first pets for kids. Well, my five year was wanting more independence, specifically a pet, so we decided to get her one from my friend. This would be perfect for us, as we homeschool, and could add this to our curriculum. We ended up getting a tiny i5 baby and it was really cool to watch him molt and grow and change. To observe eating habits and feeders was also really great for us. We learned a lot with Winky. We found out that we accidentally used chlorinated tap water and the importance of using dechlorinated water, since he was very sick for a while and we didn't know why. He got behind in growth and didn't molt for a long time. Thankfully, we got the chance to fix our mistake and he got better. He molted like three times back to back and caught up! He ended up being a very large Apalachicola Regal with white head banding that I had no idea was a unique feature of Regals and even Apalachicola Regals. He is a big reason I decided to go into breeding. He is a special guy.
This same friend was going through some things at the time, and was looking for someone to help her by taking the next clutch of slings. I enjoyed taking care of this baby so much, that I decided to take some. Then I took another clutch to help her a month later. I enjoyed it so much. I will be honest, I was in a place in my life where I needed a purpose other than motherhood or anything self-serving. And this was it. I was just caring for tiny beings and it brought me a lot of peace. I also couldn't believe the bond and interaction between the spiders and I. They were so engaging.
I was able to rehome all the babies when they were old enough, and I figured out safe shipping practices by learning from other breeders. Thank goodness for the breeders that walked me through all of it. I even shipped to Alaska for my first shipment ever and all the babies were safe and healthy. I am proud of my shipping methods.
A year later, I realized I was collecting spoods because I missed caring for all those babies. I also realized that I absolutely love educating about these little ones. I had by that time, some really special spiders in my collection. I decided that I could share their lines with other jumper enthusiasts. I have been really selective about my pairings. Although I do have a few wild caught mamas from early in my start up, I will only be offering captive raised spiders. And never paired. You will never receive a gravid spider from me. I will also be providing all information about genealogy on each jumper for adoption, so you will know if they were paired by me or not. I do not support mass wild catching or poaching. I do support wild catching to care for the jumper personally. I have learned a lot since I adopted wild caught jumpers. Please talk to me about it. I have plenty to say :D
